Job summary

Sutter Lakeside Hospital is seeking an Outpatient Oncology Physician to join our patient-centered cancer care team in Northern California. You will evaluate new oncology patients, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and manage evidence-based treatment plans while handling Beacon infusion orders and ongoing follow-up care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Oncology or Hematology/Oncology.
• Valid California medical license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for new oncology patients.
• Assess patient history, labs, imaging, and pathology to formulate diagnoses.
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based care.
• Enter and manage Beacon infusion orders, including updates and modifications.
• Provide ongoing monitoring through scheduled follow-up visits.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
