Job summary

Mount Sinai Hospital seeks an Outpatient Clinical Nutrition Coordinator for the FS Clinical Nutrition team (Outpatient Oncology). This temporary, full-time role provides nutrition care and education to patients and families under the Director of Clinical Nutrition.

You will coordinate department initiatives, develop education programs, and maintain clinical expertise to tailor nutrition therapy, while collaborating with interprofessional teams and supporting care plans and discharge processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with ACEND-accredited dietetic internship required.
• 3+ years of clinical nutrition experience indicated for the role.
• Registered Dietitian (RD) required by CDR.
• CDN from NYS required or process initiated upon hire. Advanced certifications encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition care and education to patients and families under supervision.
• Coordinate departmental initiatives and education programs.
• Maintain clinical expertise and tailor nutrition therapy to patient needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and participate in rounds and care plans.
• Assist with discharge planning and home nutrition support as needed.
