Beacon Harbor Healthcare in Rockwall, TX is seeking a PRN Outpatient Occupational Therapist to join our in-house therapy team serving geriatric clients in post-acute settings.

The ideal candidate holds an OT license and is comfortable evaluating patients, designing care plans, and delivering skilled, wound care, and functional rehabilitation under regulatory standards. New grads welcome; flexible PRN schedule available.

Qualifications

• OT license is required.
• Open to all experience levels; new grads welcome.
• Strong communication with patients and families.

Responsabilités

• Conduct screenings and evaluations of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care.
• Deliver skilled and medically necessary OT treatment interventions per regulatory standards.
• Administer procedures as part of rehabilitation including manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, and wound care.
• Provide consultation to patients, families, and other providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries ensuring regulatory compliance.

Beacon Harbor Healthcare in Rockwall, TX, is a post-acute care facility with long-term care, short-term care, and geriatric services provided. We can offer a stable and fun in-house therapy team to work with as well as excellent programs serving our geriatric clientele in their journey to recovery. We are currently seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist to assist with our outpatient ALF programs in Garland and Rowlett, TX.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct effective screening and evaluation of patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, developing appropriate care plans adhering to regulatory and clinical standards.
• Deliver rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions to patients with physical functioning disorders and/or wound care, in accordance with regulatory and clinical practice requirements.
• Administer various procedures as part of the rehabilitation plan, including manual techniques, ambulation, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Provide consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other service providers regarding physical disorders.
• Generate comprehensive discharge summaries of services provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory and clinical requirements.

Qualifications

Occupational Therapist license is required.
