Job summary

Mount Auburn OB/GYN is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our ambulatory team in Cambridge, offering direct patient care across obstetrics and gynecology. The role supports timely access to care, working with physicians and midwives in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

You will conduct annual visits, manage obstetric and gynecologic patients, and collaborate to deliver high-quality outcomes while providing compassionate patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• Nursing License required.
• American Heart Association-Basic Life Support required.
• 1-3 years related work experience required.
• Prescriptive authority from MA DPH-DCP and Federal DEA MA Board to practice as an APRN NRSG.

Responsibilities

• Assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of the plan of care for a panel of patients.
• Evaluates health care status, including history, exam, tests, and diagnosis.
• Develops and implements a plan of care with treatments and medications within guidelines.
• Provides care emphasizing patient satisfaction and cost-effective care.
• Participates in development and evaluation of practice guidelines.
• Monitors therapy, revises plan with education and self-care focus.
• Provides orientation to APG/BIDCO and seeks physician consultation as needed.
• Makes referrals as indicated by patient needs.
• Identifies learning needs and collaborates on educational programs.
• Provides leadership to support APG, BIDHC policies and goals.
