Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required.
• MSN required for all new hires.
• Computer skills required.
• Area specific required education may be obtained upon hire and is to be maintained.
• At least 2 years of Primary Care or relevant NP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as a health care provider and work collaboratively within the health team to provide primary care with sponsoring physicians.
• Maintain accurate medical records and demonstrate computer literacy in clinic systems.
• Order, perform, and interpret laboratory tests; order radiological procedures; prescribe medications; manage follow-up plans.
• Prioritize patient education and arrange referrals to specialists or community resources as needed.
• Ensure patient safety, assess growth and development, and coordinate care with physicians and staff.
• Supervise and communicate with assigned staff and participate in scheduling and cost-effective care initiatives.
