CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Clinical Neurologist to deliver high‑quality outpatient care in Durango and surrounding regions. You will evaluate and manage a spectrum of neurological conditions, including movement disorders, epilepsy, and stroke follow‑ups, with EMG/NCS support to aid diagnosis.
This role emphasizes collaboration across multidisciplinary teams and outreach clinics to extend specialty care across Southwest Colorado, in alignment with the organization’s mission and values.
As our Clinical Neurologist, you will join a team dedicated to truly optimizing healthcare for the communities we serve in Durango and the surrounding region. This position will provide exceptional outpatient neurological care while contributing to the delivery of the highest quality and most cost-effective healthcare within our integrated delivery system. Every day you will evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of neurological conditions in the outpatient setting, including movement disorders, epilepsy, headache disorders, neuromuscular diseases, stroke follow-up, dementia, and multiple sclerosis. You will also perform and interpret electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS) to aid in the diagnosis and management of neuromuscular disorders. You will collaborate closely with primary care providers, advanced practice providers, rehabilitation specialists, imaging teams, and other specialists to deliver coordinated, patient-centered care. In addition to your primary clinic in Durango, you will participate in outreach clinics throughout the region, strengthening access to high-quality neurological services and building lasting relationships with patients and referring providers in rural communities. To be successful in this role, you will be a skilled, board-certified, and compassionate Neurologist who is committed to delivering exceptional outpatient neurological care.
