Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System’s Neurological Institute offers a full-time outpatient opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to practice in general neurology at the Main Campus or a Regional Family Health Center location. Responsibilities include evaluating new and established patients, managing ongoing treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Normal hours are M-F 8-5 with no on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• MSN or PA degree required or equivalent
• APRN/PA level clinical training with neurology focus preferred
• Oral and written English communication required

Responsibilities

• Take comprehensive histories and perform physical exams.
• Order and interpret basic lab and imaging as needed.
• Collaborate with the health care team for care plans.
• Prescribe and monitor medications per licensure.
• Educate patients about diseases and treatments.
• Participate in rounds and care coordination.
• Refer to specialists as appropriate.
• Ensure continuity of care across care teams.
