Job summary

Institutes of Health (IOH) is seeking a Neurologist for 100% outpatient, non-procedural care focused on traumatic brain injuries and related neurological conditions. The role supports return-to-work goals within a multidisciplinary team, with part-time or independent contractor arrangements across multiple IOH locations in California.

The ideal physician will be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology, possess an active California license, and have experience in outpatient neurology and

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Active and unrestricted California medical license required.
• Outpatient neurology experience preferred.
• Experience with TBI, acquired brain injury, or neurocognitive conditions preferred.
• Workers' Compensation experience is a plus.
• Strong clinical communication and documentation skills.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive neurological evaluations and assessments.
• Evaluate and manage TBI and other neurological conditions related to workrelated injuries or exposures.
• Assess functional impact and provide appropriate treatment and rehabilitation recommendations.
• Develop individualized treatment recommendations within a multidisciplinary, biopsychosocial model of care.
• Collaborate with PM&R, psychology, pain management, and rehabilitation providers.
• Monitor patient progress and modify recommendations as clinically appropriate.
• Maintain timely and thorough clinical documentation consistent with California Workers' Compensation requirements.
