Job summary

MaineGeneral Medical Center in Augusta, ME seeks a full-time outpatient BE/BC Neurologist to join our physician-led integrated health system. You will provide comprehensive outpatient neurological care, including EEGs, sleep studies, EMG/NCV, and Botox for select indications, with access to Telemedicine for hospital calls.

Qualifications

• MD or DO license to practice in the United States.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology (BE/BC).
• Experience in outpatient neurology strongly preferred.
• Ability to perform EMG/NCV, EEG, sleep studies and Botox as indicated.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient neurological care to patients.
• Perform EMG/NCV, EEG, sleep studies and Botox injections as indicated.
• Collaborate with inpatient neurology and telemedicine for hospital calls and urgent consultations.
• Participate in teaching activities with residency programs.
