Job summary

Summa Health is seeking a General Neurologist to join our Outpatient Neurology Service at the Summa Health Neurosciences Institute in Akron, OH. This employed role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with an integrated neurophysiology lab and inpatient coverage across stroke, neurocritical care, epilepsy monitoring, and neuro-hospitalist services.

Academic appointments at Northeast Ohio Medical University may be available, with a robust referral base and extensive in-house imaging and labs.

Qualifications

• Neurology board certification eligibility.
• Current unrestricted license to practice in Ohio or ability to obtain one.
• Willingness to participate in teaching and resident sessions.
• Commitment to quality care in a patient-centered, team-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient neurology services with an associated neurophysiology lab.
• Participate in inpatient neuro-hospitalist, neurocritical care, stroke, and epilepsy monitoring unit coverage as needed.

Candidate Qualifications
