Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation seeks a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist at the Fort Worth Bryant Irvin outpatient clinic. You will work in an interdisciplinary team to assess and treat motor speech, language, cognitive-communication disorders, and dysphagia.

The role emphasizes standardized assessments, swallow evaluations, diet planning, patient/family training, and ongoing professional development within a mentorship-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• CCC-SLP and TX-SLP certification required.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required.
• Dysphagia experience required.
• LSVT/SPEAK OUT certification required.
• 3+ years outpatient experience with adult neuro preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform standardized assessments for speech, language, cognitive-communication, and fluency disorders to create individualized plans of care.
• Conduct clinical swallow evaluations and interpret Modified Barium Swallow results to guide diet and plan.
• Plan and deliver patient and family training to address safety and carryover at home and in the community.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, ENT, surgeons, and physicians.
