Job summary

Ellie Mental Health seeks a licensed psychologist to help expand access to quality mental health care in a supportive, values-driven environment in Tennessee. You will evaluate diagnoses, design treatment plans, document sessions, and collaborate with a dynamic team to close gaps in community care.

The role supports flexible scheduling with opportunities for advancement, and involves working within Ellie’s mission to destigmatize mental health while delivering compassionate, creative care.

Qualifications

• Fully licensed psychologist (Psy.D./Ph.D.) in Tennessee.
• Experience completing DAs, treatment plans, and case notes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries with clients.
• Ability to document services in a timely manner.
• Comfort working with diverse client base.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnoses and create/implement treatment plans; complete ongoing documentation.
• Provide excellent client service and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients meet goals.
• Submit session documentation per company guidelines.
• Maintain a caseload of at least 25 client visits per week for full-time.
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, and other staff.
• Attend clinical staff meetings and trainings.

Responsibilities Include

• Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
• Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
• For Full-Time status clinicians must maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings
• Other stuff we probably forgot to add but just as meaningful and important to your role

Required Qualifications And Skills

• Candidates should have full clinical licensure (Psy.D/Ph.D) in the state of Tennessee
• Required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical case notes
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
• Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
• Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
• Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)
• Fully Licensed Clinicians will ideally be credentialed with insurance panels

Nice To Have

• ADHD and psychological testing experience
