Job summary

A local mental health clinic in Florida is seeking skilled Outpatient Therapists to provide quality mental health care. In this full-time position, you will evaluate client needs, create personalized treatment plans, and work collaboratively with a dedicated team to fill gaps in mental health services. Qualifications

• Candidates must have a master's degree in a behavioral science field from an accredited institution.
• Registration as a mental health intern in Florida is required.
• Experience with documentation and clinical notes is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries with clients.
• Timely submission of documentation and services notes.
• Comfort working with a diverse client base.
• Proficiency with Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant is a plus).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate diagnoses, create and implement treatment plans.
• Provide excellent customer service and collaborate with the team.
• Utilize creativity in interventions to support client goals.
• Prepare individual documentation for each session.
• Coordinate services with various stakeholders as needed.
• Participate in clinical staff meetings and trainings.

We are hiring full time registered intern therapists at Ellie Mental Health’s new locally owned and operated clinic in Bradenton, FL. Ellie is unique in our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care and driven by our core values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination.

This position is unique also because it’s like having a private practice, but without the headaches (billing/collections, office space overhead, etc.)

The Bradenton Ellie Mental Health clinic opened in May of 2023 with a comfortable and inviting office space. This job is for therapists who can get excited about being at the beginning of building a culture of ending stigma around mental health, while promoting and providing mental health care as part of maintaining an authentic and healthy life for everyone.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnosis, create, and implement a treatment plan, complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
• Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and on track to obtain licensure in their designated field
• Candidates are required to be registered (MHC, SW, MFT) Interns in Florida
• Required experience with completing DAs, treatment plans and clinical case notes
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
• Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner
• Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
• Proficient in the use of Office 365 and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!)
