Ellie Mental Health-South Dayton, OH seeks an Outpatient Therapist to expand access to quality mental health care within a compassionate, inclusive clinic. The role emphasizes authenticity, creativity, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

You will handle diverse clients, develop treatment plans, document promptly, and participate in outreach to grow community impact in a flexible hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a behavioral science field from an accredited college or university, and on track to licensure.
• Clinical licensure in LMFT/LPCC/LPC/LMSW/LICSW/LP, etc.
• Ability to demonstrate stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
• Ability to complete and submit documentation of services within 24 hours.
• Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base.
• Proficient in Office 5.x and EHR systems; Valant experience a plus.

Join the compassionate and creative, locally owned and operated Ellie Mental Health clinic in Centerville or Springboro OH! We are a fun group practice environment dedicated to prioritizing and nurturing the therapist experience. We believe the quality of the clinician's experience is central to providing top‑teir mental health services.

Our ideal candidate will be available to start in December of 2026 or January of 2027.

Compensation And Benefits

• Compensation range $35-$60 an hour (based on qualifications)
• Benefits: W2 employee with 401k, PTO, healthcare, dental and vision insurance

Position Overview

As an Outpatient Therapist at Ellie Mental Health, you'll share our vision for improving and expanding access to quality mental health care and thrive in an environment driven by our core values of authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination. Responsibilities Include

• Provide multiculturally humble therapy services
• Diagnose, create and maintain individualized treatment plans
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in our community
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals
• Maintain clinical documentation in EHR system
• Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week (for full time status, 15 for PT)
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed
• Attend and participate in required clinical staff meetings and trainings.
• Participate in clinic marketing, outreach, and networking community events

Required Qualifications And Skills

• Candidates are required to have a master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and on track to obtain licensure in their designated field
• Candidates should have clinical licensure (LMFT, LPCC, LPC, LMSW, LICSW, LP etc.)
• Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients
• Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents within 24 hours
• Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
• Proficient in the use of Office 5✗ and Electronic Health Record systems (Valant experience a plus!), including the collection of co-payments
