Job summary

Ellie Mental Health in Lexington, MA is seeking licensed therapists (LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, Psychologist, etc.) who want a different employment experience to ignite creativity and minimize barriers of traditional therapy practices.

This is a hybrid outpatient position at Ellie Mental Health’s Lexington clinic, offering a collaborative, mission-driven environment with opportunities for professional growth and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in behavioral sciences from an accredited college or university.
• Massachusetts clinical licensure (LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, Psychologist) preferred.
• Experience with diagnostic assessments, treatment plans and case notes.
• Familiarity with insurance billing and mental health documentation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnoses and create, implement, and maintain treatment plans with ongoing documentation.
• For full-time, maintain a caseload of 25+ client visits per week.
• Provide excellent client service and collaborate with a team to expand access to care.
• Utilize creative interventions to help clients achieve goals.
• Submit documentation per company guidelines and coordinate with related professionals.
• Attend clinical staff meetings and trainings.

This is a hybrid position, not 100% remote. Salary Range: $63,000 - $123,000

Responsibilities

• Evaluate mental health diagnoses, create, implement, and maintain treatment plans and complete ongoing documentation including further diagnosis, treatment plan reviews, and case notes according to company policy.
• For fulltime status, maintain a caseload of a minimum of 25 client visits per week or more if desired.
• Provide excellent customer service for clients and collaborate with a dynamic team to further the mission of filling gaps in your community.
• Utilize creativity in interventions to help clients achieve and exceed goals.
• Prepare and submit individual documentation for each session per company guidelines and protocol.
• Coordinate services with case managers, families, work personnel, medical personnel, other Ellie staff, and school staff as needed.
• Attend and participate in all clinical staff meetings and trainings.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Master’s degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university.
• Massachusetts clinical licensure (LICSW, LMFT, LMHC, Psychologist, etc.) preferred.
• Experience with completing diagnostic assessments, treatment plans and clinical case notes.
• Ideal candidates will have a general knowledge of therapy services, community resources, insurance billing, and previous experience with mental health documentation.
• Ability to complete and submit documentation of services and other documents in a timely manner.
• Ability to demonstrate and model stable, appropriate boundaries with clients.
• Proficient in the use of Office 365 and EHR systems (Valant experience a plus).
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
