Job summary

Voices for Voices seeks an Outpatient Mental Health Registered Nurse to provide evidence-based, patient-centered care and coordinate services across the continuum for Veterans in outpatient MH clinics. This intermittent role requires English proficiency, active nursing licensure, and VA qualification adherence.

The RN will work with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery-oriented care, patient education, and safety within the VA outpatient environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate from nursing program approved by ACEN/CCNE or equivalent
• Current, full, active, unrestricted nursing license in US
• Eligible for licensure as RN in VA/US jurisdictions
• Basic English proficiency for direct patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based outpatient mental health nursing care
• Coordinate care across care continuum
• Educate patients and families about conditions, medications and treatment plans
• Lead or participate in nursing education and orientation
• Engage in safety reporting and quality improvement activities
• Deliver recovery-oriented, patient-centered care in MH settings
