Job summary

Harrison County Hospital is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant for Outpatient Nursing and wound care, primarily working Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM. Candidates should have knowledge of Cerner and insurance authorizations, along with skills in drawing labs and assisting with wound care.

This role involves performing medical assistant duties under the direction of registered nurses and ensuring all aspects of patient care are delivered effectively.

Qualifications

• Knowledge with Cerner and insurance authorizations is preferred.
• Must be able to draw labs from patients and assist with wound care.
• Self-motivated and able to multi-task.

Responsibilities

• Perform medical assistant and tech duties in the Outpatient Nursing Department.
• Accountable for patient care and clerical duties as assigned.
• Promote teamwork among co-workers.
