Job summary

University Hospitals Beachwood Family Medicine is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide clinical and administrative support in an outpatient setting. You will room patients, record vital signs, and assist with procedures under provider supervision, ensuring efficient, patient-centered flow.

Required completion of a Medical Assistant program and high school diploma; CMA and BLS preferred. Prior clinical experience is valued; strong communication and computer skills are essential to coordinate

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant Program is required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Less than 1 year of clinical Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) is preferred.
• BLS certification preferred within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and record vital signs; assist with procedures.
• Assist with front desk duties including scheduling and collecting payer information.
• Provide basic patient-centered care as delegated by the provider.
• Maintain a safe environment and comply with PHI privacy requirements.
• Follow department guidelines and orientation documentation.
