Job summary

BJC Medical Group in Barnes West Primary Care, part of the Family Medicine team, is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to support outpatient patient care and clinical workflows.

You will assist physicians, prepare exam rooms, take vitals, and document patient histories, while performing routine clinical skills in a fast-paced environment. Benefits are available; schedule is day-shift with no call, weekends, or holidays.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, prepares and stocks supplies in exam rooms.
• Obtains vital signs, patient history and maintains accurate charting.
• Performs clinical skills such as phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing and injections.
• Triage calls and presents test/lab results to provider with clear medical terminology.
