Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a Certified Lymphedema Occupational Therapist for outpatient rehab in Florence, SC. You will evaluate patients, develop OT treatment plans, and document progress with a focus on improving functional abilities.

Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians and families, directing staff as needed, and ensuring compliance with licensing and certification requirements. A degree in OT and SC licensure are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in occupational therapy from an accredited school.
• One year prior experience preferred; new graduates acceptable.
• SC License for Occupational Therapist; BLS or equivalent certification; Lymphedema Occupational Therapist certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, administers and directs therapeutic procedures in physical medicine and rehabilitation as prescribed.
• Establishes OT goals and reassesses progress with documentation.
• Collaborates with physicians, family, and other clinicians to provide effective therapies.
• May direct support staff in assisting with treatment.
