Job summary

KAISER Riverside Ophthalmology Clinic is seeking an LVN-Outpatient-Level II to provide skilled nursing care under supervision and support the ophthalmology team in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The role requires a California LVN license, BLS certification, and at least 12 months of LVN experience in direct patient care. Schedule includes shifts with weekends, holidays, and floating within the department.

Qualifications

• LVN license (California) and BLS certification.
• Minimum twelve (12) months LVN direct patient care within the last three years.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care under the direction of a RN or physician/APP.
• Transcribe physician orders and act within policy.
• Administer medications per orders and assess patient responses.
• Assist with examinations and treatments, prepare supplies and instruments.
• Document patient care activities in Health Connect and maintain infection control standards.
• Coordinate discharge and support back-office workflows in support of patient care.
