Job summary

KAISER Fontana is seeking an LVN for outpatient family medicine, Regular Clinic, On Call. Under supervision of a Registered Nurse and physicians, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and support clinic operations to ensure high-quality service for plan members.

Required twelve months LVN experience, California LVN license and Basic Life Support. A strong focus on customer relations, safety, and adherence to policies is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months LVN direct patient care experience within the last three years.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Vocational Nurse License (California) and Basic Life Support certification.
• Extraordinary customer relations and quality service are critical to our success.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care under supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician/APN.
• Transcribes orders and follows policy.
• Administers medications per orders and/or standing orders within scope of practice.
• Assists with examinations and treatments by passing instruments and supporting patient care.
• Documents patient condition and reports findings to the RN/APN in a timely manner.
