Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Minnesota is seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse for outpatient Primary Care. The LPN will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to deliver coordinated care across pediatric to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities include direct patient care, assessments, education, medication administration, and support of preventive and chronic disease management initiatives in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of practical nursing or equivalent, with RN option depending on state.
• One year LPN experience in last five years preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Computer skills, EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients within scope.
• Conduct focused assessments and reinforce patient education.
• Administer medications, immunizations, and basic treatments.
• Support preventive care and chronic disease management initiatives.
• Assist with in-clinic procedures and clinic workflows.
