Job summary

Mayo Clinic Southeast is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support pediatric, adult, and geriatric care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. You will administer medications, perform routine treatments, and assist with clinic workflows to ensure timely, coordinated care.

You will collaborate with physicians, RNs, and allied health staff while delivering compassionate patient education and preventive care. The role emphasizes continuity of care across multiple sites in Minnesota and beyond.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of practical nursing or passed LPN Boards.
• One year LPN experience within the last five years preferred.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care within scope of practice for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
• Conducts focused assessments and reinforcement of patient education.
• Administers medications, immunizations, and treatments such as injections, wound care, and suture/staple removal.
• Supports population needs for preventive care services, chronic disease management, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Independently manages a nurse visit calendar and clinic workflows.
