Job summary

Preferred Vascular Group in the United States seeks a board-certified Interventional Radiologist for a 100% outpatient vascular and interventional radiology practice in Georgia. The role offers no call, nights, or weekends, and supports long-term clinical autonomy in an ASC setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited training pathway in Interventional Radiology, including a Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship or an Integrated/Independent IR residency.
• Board certified or board eligible in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology.
• Eligible for an unrestricted medical license in Georgia.
• Demonstrated proficiency in vascular and interventional radiology.
• Experience or training in peripheral arterial intervention, peripheral venous intervention, dialysis access care, and embolization.
• Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered clinical care.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in an ASC, office-based laboratory, or outpatient procedural environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality vascular and interventional care in an outpatient ASC environment.
• Evaluate patients and determine procedural and nonprocedural treatment plans.
• Perform peripheral arterial, venous, dialysis access, embolization, and other IR procedures.
• Provide pre- and post-procedure assessments and follow-up.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, referring physicians, and the clinical team.
• Collaborate with nursing, technologists, anesthesia, administrative, and operational staff.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Participate in quality-improvement and patient-safety initiatives.
• Help develop new clinical programs and expand outpatient service lines.
• Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians and community partners.
