Job summary

Atlantic MEDsearch in Fairfax, VA is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine physician to replace a departing colleague and take over an existing patient base. You will work alongside 5 IM physicians and 4 nurse assistants in a practice offering outpatient care with a broad scope of internal medicine procedures.

Inpatient work is referred to hospitalists; ancillary services include EKGs, stress tests, PFTs, Holters, sleep studies, labs, and screenings.

Qualifications

• Experience in outpatient internal medicine and procedures.
• Ability to manage a broad scope of internal medicine cases.

Responsibilities

• Replace a departed physician and take over an existing patient base.
• Work alongside 5 other IM physicians and 4 nurse assistants.
• Provide outpatient internal medicine care with a wide scope of procedures.
• All inpatient work is referred to hospitalists.
• Perform ancillary services (EKG, stress tests, PFTs, Holters, sleep studies, labs, Paps, vision, hearing).
• Hours: Mon-Thu 7am-7pm, Fri 7am-5pm, Sat 8am-12n.
