Job summary

Central Maine Healthcare seeks an Internal/Family Medicine Physician for an established outpatient practice in Naples, Maine. This position focuses on outpatient primary care in a supportive, community-driven system with opportunities to collaborate across the CMH network.

You will provide comprehensive care for adult patients, coordinating with specialists and hospital-based teams to optimize outcomes while enjoying a collaborative and growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
• Eligible for Maine medical license; DEA certification (or eligibility).

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient internal medicine care for adults.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions.
• Coordinate care with specialists and hospital-based providers.
• Participate in preventive care, wellness visits, and chronic disease management.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in the EMR.
• Collaborate with advanced practice providers, nurses, and care teams.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
