Astrya Global Medical Staffing is seeking a Board Certified Hematology/Oncology Physician for a full‑time outpatient opportunity in Bellflower, CA. The position is 6 months with option to extend, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with pay rate of $540–$545/hour and no call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Medical Oncology
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology
• Active California medical license
• BLS and ACLS certification through the American Heart Association
• Bone marrow biopsy experience preferred but not required
• California licensure candidates are not eligible

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient care for adult oncology and hematology patients
• Manage a patient population consisting of approximately 70% oncology and 30% hematology
• Diagnose and treat patients with solid tumors and hematologic disorders
• Manage chronic leukemia patients, including CML and CLL
• Perform bone marrow biopsies when appropriate (preferred but not required)
• Conduct new patient consultations and follow‑up visits
• Document patient care using the EPIC electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams to coordinate patient treatment plans
• No inpatient responsibilities or care of acute leukemia patients
