Job summary

LocumTenens.com places clinicians in outpatient cancer centers across central California. An MD is needed to provide on-site hematology and oncology coverage in a clinic setting, ASAP and ongoing, Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.

The clinical scope is 80% oncology and 20% hematology, with up to 16 patients seen daily and 2–3 new consults. Support staff include MA, RN, and cancer care navigators to ensure coordinated care.

Qualifications

• Board certification: negotiable.
• Prescriptive authority: required.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site outpatient hematology/oncology coverage, Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week.
• Manage up to 16 patients per day with 2–3 new consults daily.

• No call obligations required during the assignment.
