Job summary

Bethany Medical seeks an Outpatient Gastroenterologist to join a large independent multi-specialty group serving Central North Carolina. This role is outpatient-focused with access to a state-of-the-art endoscopy center and extensive onsite ancillary services.

The physician will perform endoscopies and colonoscopies, assess patient history, and develop personalized treatment plans while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and patient care are emphasized.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited school.
• Completed gastroenterology fellowship with board eligibility or certification.

Responsibilities

• Join a team of physicians in a busy outpatient practice.
• Perform diagnostic procedures (endoscopy, colonoscopy) at a modern center.
• Develop diagnoses and treatment plans based on history and tests.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families on options and disease management.
• Maintain accurate medical records and continuity of care.
