LocumTenens.com is seeking a Gastroenterologist for an outpatient, clinic- and endoscopy-based locum tenens assignment in Portland, Oregon starting January 2027. The role is on-site, Monday through Friday, with day shifts and no call responsibilities.

The clinician will cover 1.0 FTE, performing 15 procedures on endoscopy days and 15-18 clinic visits on clinic days, with 36-40 patient-facing hours per week.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Gastroenterology is required.
• Outpatient GI coverage with endoscopy days.
• No call coverage for this locum tenens assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient gastroenterology coverage on a day-shift schedule (1.0 FTE).
• Perform an average of 15 procedures per endoscopy day or 15–18 clinic visits per clinic day.
• Work 36–40 patient-facing hours per week with 1–2 clinic days and 2–3 endoscopy days per week.
