Job summary

Ascension St. John in Broken Arrow, OK, is seeking a physician to join an employed outpatient practice within a busy health system. You will work with a team of physicians and APPs, with a light call schedule and comprehensive operational support.

This nonprofit health system provides on-site lab, X-ray, urgent care facilities, and a wide network of specialty services to coordinate patient care. Licensure and prescriptive authority in Oklahoma are required.

Qualifications

• Physician MD/DO with Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

• Join an established team of physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Lead patient care within your assigned area by applying advanced diagnostic and treatment skills to improve health outcomes.
• Advocate for clinical excellence by identifying and implementing strategies that enhance quality and cost‑effectiveness of care.
• Light call schedule distributed among providers.
• Practice setting: Outpatient, employed model with full operational support.

Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
