Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, Texas, is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine physician for a position with Northwest JO Wyatt, our community health center. This is an employed, outpatient-only role serving patients of all ages, including underserved populations such as Medicaid.

The clinic offers Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, women's and children's services. Must hold Texas license and DEA, or be able to obtain. Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits provided.

Qualifications

• BC/BE Family Medicine required.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Family Medicine residency required.
• Active, clear Texas license and DEA or ability to obtain.
• Clean professional background.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate bedside manner.

Responsibilities

• Support the NWTHS mission of delivering high quality, compassionate care to Amarillo and the Texas Panhandle region.
• Provide comprehensive primary and preventative care to patients of all ages.
• Treat acute illnesses and manage chronic diseases.
• Coordinate care including referral to specialists and other health professionals.
