UNC Health Appalachian in Boone, NC is recruiting an Outpatient Family Medicine Physician to serve child, adult and geriatric patients in a rural, underserved area. This role is part of a well-known Family Medicine Clinic in Western NC, with an option to precept Family Medicine residents.

UNC Health Appalachian is recruiting for an Outpatient Family Medicine Physician:

• Child, Adult and Geriatric patient panel in a rural, underserved area

• Join a well-known Family Med Clinic in Western NC

• Ability to precept Family Med residents (optional)

• UNC Affiliated Health System

• EPIC experience a plus

• Compensation Includes: Sign On, Relocation, Base Salary, Loan Reimbursement, Yearly CME Stipend, 6 Weeks Vacation/CME, Health & Retirement Benefits, Paid Malpractice

UNC Health Appalachian currently owns 2 hospitals in Boone and Linville, NC (Watauga Medical Center and Cannon Memorial Hospital); as well as a regional cancer center, a 27-bed inpatient behavioral health center
