Job summary

MercyOneNorth Iowa Medical Center in Mason City, IA is seeking a full-time endocrinologist to manage diabetes, weight loss and overall endocrinology care in an outpatient setting. Join 2 physicians and 5 ARNPs in a busy practice with teaching opportunities for residents and students.

Compensation includes a base salary of $286,989 per year, a $100,000 bonus package, moving allowance up to $15,000, and CME of $6,000 annually, with day-one benefits and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in Endocrinology or board-eligible within 3 years of fellowship completion.
• Experience in outpatient endocrinology and diabetes education preferred.
• Ability to teach Internal Medicine and Family Medicine residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient diabetes/endocrinology care for adults.
• Manage Type I and II diabetes, pump and sensor therapy, and education.
• Lead and participate in resident and student teaching.
• Deliver medical nutrition therapy and weight loss management.
