Job summary

MUSC Health Endocrinology is seeking a full-time Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join our expanding team in Elgin, South Carolina. This is an outpatient, full-time, employed position in a busy region serving about 70,000 residents.

We offer a collaborative environment with mentors and APP support, access to MUSC Health’s extensive referral network, and modern facilities. Join us to provide comprehensive diabetes, thyroid, osteoporosis, and metabolic care.

Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine and Endocrinology.
• Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency Program and Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism Fellowship.
• Must hold or be eligible for an unrestricted South Carolina Medical license.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with mentors and APPs in a supportive clinical setting.
• Grow outpatient patient base at the Elgin Medical Pavilion, 20 miles east of Columbia.
• Provide comprehensive care for diabetes, thyroid, osteoporosis, and metabolic diseases within a large MUSC Health network.
