Job summary

Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Lawrenceburg is seeking an Outpatient Registered Dietitian for an in-person role in Lawrenceburg, TN. The candidate will guide patients and staff on medical nutrition therapy, build relationships with physicians, and support patient satisfaction with nutrition plans.

Starting pay is $30/hour, with flexible schedules including part-time and full-time. Pediatric and diabetes management experience is preferred; RD licensure and state requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration and state licensure as required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and documentation practices.
• Computer proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, and software.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutritional assessments and interventions using evidence-based practices.
• Educate patients, families, nursing, food service, and staff on nutrition needs.
• Document assessments and nutrition goals in the medical record.
• Communicate patient nutritional status with physicians and clinical staff.
• Manage orders for therapeutic diets and supplements; participate in rounds.
• Support regulatory compliance by updating clinical nutrition policies.
