Job summary

Resilient Health is seeking a Behavioral Health Counselor in Phoenix to help participants build resilience through evidence-based practices and compassionate care.

You will facilitate in-person and telehealth group services, create strength-based assessments and treatment plans, document progress clearly, and collaborate with the clinical team to support families and improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Licensed by AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners preferred.
• Valid driver's license and CPR/First Aid or ability to obtain.

About our Behavioral Health Counselor Position:

Our Behavioral Health Counselor position plays a vitalrole in building each participant's resilience, through innovative andeffective evidence-based practices.

About You:

• Enjoys engaging participants using a variety of motivationalapproaches
• Skilled in creating strength-based assessments and treatment plans
• Skilled in or willing to learn non-verbal therapeutic approaches
• Energized by facilitating group services in-person and viatelehealth
• Uses concurrent/collaborative documentation as a way to increasedocumentation quality, promote work/life balance and engage ourparticipants
• Enjoys collaborating with other members of the clinical team to improve our participants' experience and overall resilience
• Understands the value of integrating family systems and support intothe treatment experience
• Creative, energetic, flexible and serves as a healthy role model forparticipants
• Detail oriented in documenting each participant's needs and progress

Education, Experience, and Other Requirements:

• Master's Degreerequired (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a relatedhuman service field)
• Licensed by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners in SocialWork, Counseling, Marriage and Family, and/or Substance Abusepreferred
• Valid driver's license
• Valid CPR/First Aid certifications or ability to obtain within 30days of hire
• Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card or ability to obtain within 90 daysof hireThree-year Motor Vehicle Record that meets our auto insurancecarrier's coverage requirements

What This Position Pays:

$51,000 - $70,000, depending on years of counseling experience and license
