Job summary

Bournewood Health Systems’ Outpatient team in Woburn, MA seeks a Clinician to deliver group therapy, psychoeducation, case management, individual clinical support, and family therapy as needed.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s in social work or counseling and licensure (LMHC, LCSW, LICSW, LADC, LMFT) or are pursuing licensure; inpatient field placement is preferred and strong EMR skills are essential for effective treatment documentation.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work from an accredited school of Social Work or Master’s in Counseling and licensed (LMHC, LCSW,LICSW, LADC, LMFT) or obtaining licensure (pay scale accommodations are considered depending on licensure).
• Inpatient field placement experience preferred.
• Ability to manage a dynamic and sometimes high-risk patient population with professionalism and empathy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform direct clinical services for patients including group therapy and group psychoeducation.
• Provide direction to clinical staff as well as counseling services teams.
• Document patients’ treatment. Complete and review charts.
• Stay up to date on clinical best practices in behavioral health treatment.
• Provide crisis intervention and milieu management.
• Work across teams to coordinate and monitor discharge planning and continuity of care.
