Job summary

Paradigm Recovery Center is seeking an Outpatient Clinician to provide individual and group therapy, complete biopsychosocial assessments, and develop treatment plans within ASAM levels of care. This role supports startup operations, drives program development, and ensures high-quality documentation.

Candidates hold a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field and Missouri licensure or eligibility.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field.
• Missouri licensure or eligibility for licensing is required or preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health or substance use treatment is essential.
• Strong documentation and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy sessions in accordance with ASAM 2.5 and 2.1 requirements.
• Facilitate or co-facilitate therapeutic groups as assigned.
• Complete biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic impressions.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation in the EHR.
• Ensure documentation meets Missouri regulations and payer standards.
• Maintain HIPAA and confidentiality compliance.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and supervision.
• Coordinate care with medical, case management, and peer staff.
• Communicate client progress and safety concerns.
• Support engagement and retention in treatment.
• Assist with discharge planning and referrals.
• Educate clients and families on recovery resources.
• Contribute to clinical workflow and program development.
• Support quality improvement and survey readiness.
• Maintain flexibility in a startup setting.
