Job summary

Pine Rest is seeking a compassionate Clinical Therapist to provide assessment, counseling, and treatment services at the Northwest Clinic in Grand Rapids, MI. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and deliver evidence-based therapy to help patients move toward recovery.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field, and current Michigan licensure (LMSW/LPC/LP or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field.
• Current full Michigan licensure as LMSW, LPC, LP, or equivalent clinical license.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide high-quality, person-centered behavioral health services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based approaches.
• Collaborate with treatment team members to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Assist with crisis intervention, safety planning, and community resource coordination.
• Promote a recovery-focused, person-centered treatment environment.

Pine Rest is seeking a compassionate Clinical Therapist to provide assessment, counseling, and treatment services for individuals receiving behavioral health care. In this role, you'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, deliver evidence‑based therapy, and help patients build the skills and support needed for recovery.

What You’ll Do

• Experience providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
• DBT‑Intensive (DBT‑I) training
• Experience working with children and adolescents
