Job summary

NMCI Medical Clinic in Sacramento seeks an experienced psychologist to provide psychotherapy for individuals and groups in an outpatient setting. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team and support patients through a Functional Restoration Program (FRP) with a focus on mental health and functional outcomes.

You will deliver assessments and interventions, collaborate with primary physicians, and contribute to guest lectures on psychology for patients.

Qualifications

• Current California licensure to practice psychology.
• Doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA-approved program.
• Experience in workers' compensation or chronic pain management; fellowship preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychotherapy for individuals and groups using a range of modalities.
• Support patients before, during, or after the Functional Restoration Program (FRP).
• Educate patients on mental health topics including pain management and mood regulation.
