Candidates should have at least a high school diploma, English proficiency, basic anatomy and math knowledge,

The OCCA performs a variety of clinical, technical, and administrative duties including patient intake and rooming, specimen collection, diagnostic testing, treatment support, patient education reinforcement, and electronic health record documentation. This role collaborates with providers and other healthcare team members to ensure efficient clinic operations, promote positive patient outcomes, maintain regulatory and safety standards, and provide an exceptional patient experience.

Required Length And Type Of Experience

• Minimum of one-year recent healthcare experience in a hospital, ambulatory, home care, assisted living, nursing home, or long-term care, preferred


• Proficient in the use of an electronic medical record, preferred

Required Licensure Or Certification

Current BLS Certification

Required Physical And Environmental Demands

• Requires full body motion to move and lift patients


• Manual Finger Dexterity with good eye-hand coordination


• Requires hearing and vision corrected to a normal range


• Involves extensive standing and walking


• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
