Job summary

Foundation Health Partners is seeking a dependable Clinic Technician to support outpatient care. You will assist with patient intake, basic clinical procedures, and daily clinic operations to ensure an efficient and welcoming environment.

The position offers an internal apprenticeship pathway to Certified Medical Assistant through Stepful and benefits including medical/vision/dental, 401k with match, tuition assistance, and wellness programs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED (or equivalent) required.
• Must have medical terminology knowledge or complete a terminology course within 6 months.
• Willing to complete a medical terminology course within six months of hire if not previously completed.
• Excellent organizational, human relations, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, computer literacy and keyboarding required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs and chief complaints; document pain scores and patient condition.
• Assist with exams and minor in-office procedures; acts as chaperon when needed.
• Provide clerical support; maintain medical records, labs, authorizations and imaging data.
• Schedule and confirm patient appointments; communicate physician orders and instructions.
• Maintain clean, sterilized environments; handle equipment safely per OSHA guidelines.
• Order supplies, monitor inventory, including medications and immunizations; coordinate maintenance.
• Develop effective communication with patients and staff to support smooth clinical operations.
