Job summary

Froedtert South, Inc. Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin, is seeking a Registered Nurse for Cardiac Services.

The role coordinates and administers nursing care for patients undergoing cardiac testing, performs EKGs and noninvasive exercise tests, and prepares test results. Minimum requirements include an Associate Degree in Nursing, current BLS/CPR and ACLS certifications, and eligibility for RN licensure in Wisconsin or Illinois depending on location.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing required.
• BLS and/or CPR certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Licensure eligible to practice as RN or GN in WI and/or IL depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer nursing care for cardiac patients undergoing testing.
• Perform EKGs and noninvasive exercise tests; prepare test results.
• Provide patient education and triage to appropriate level of care via telephone.
