Job summary

Blue Ridge Health in Clyde, NC is seeking a Mental Health Therapist to join the Behavioral Health Team. The role focuses on providing outpatient mental health treatment to patients in a clinic setting, collaborating with partner agencies, and supporting the community through education and follow-up.

Qualified candidates will be licensed as LCSW or LCMHC (or eligible), bring about two years of clinical experience, and be comfortable with individual and group therapy.

Qualifications

• Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor required (fully or provisionally licensed or license eligible).
• Approximately 2 years of clinical work experience preferred.
• LCAS licensure is a plus.
• Ability to perform comprehensive clinical assessments and develop viable treatment plans.
• Experience with Electronic Health Records preferred.
• Experience in individual and group therapy including recovery work.
• Excellent listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient mental health treatment/service to patients in the clinic setting.
• Interact with provider agencies and referral sources and participate in team meetings.
• Offer education and support to the community.
