Job summary

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, is hiring an outpatient bariatric dietitian to deliver medical nutrition therapy in a hospital setting. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to drive patient outcomes through evidence-based nutrition care.

Ideal candidates include RDNs or eligible for CDR, licensed in the practice state, and those with healthcare experience or strong clinical training. Perks include licensure dues, academy access, and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or CDR exam eligible.
• Licensed Dietitian (or willing to obtain) in the state of practice as applicable.
• Healthcare experience preferred—new graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide Medical Nutrition Therapy and education in an acute care setting to enhance patient outcomes.
• Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on nutrition and lifestyle strategies for long-term wellness.
• Apply evidence-based practice in line with diet manuals and facility protocols.
• Support quality initiatives and collaborate with food service management to improve patient satisfaction.
• Mentor and develop staff and dietetic interns where applicable.
