Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare seeks locum tenens anesthesia coverage in California. You will provide outpatient anesthesia for ortho, general surgery, GYN, ENT, urology, and podiatry with ASA 1–3 patients. Regional anesthesia skills are preferred, and Epic EMR is used for documentation.

Shifts are Monday–Friday with 8, 10, or 12 hours. No call is required, and a minimum commitment of 10 days per month is expected. Weatherby offers paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing, and 24/7 consultant support.

Qualifications

• Regional anesthesia skills preferred.
• Outpatient case mix includes ortho, general surgery, GYN, ENT, urology, and podiatry.
• ASA 1–3 patient acuity; no L&D, vascular, neuro, cardiac, or trauma.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for outpatient cases in ortho, general surgery, GYN, ENT, urology, and podiatry.
• Mon–Fri schedule with 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts.
• No call required; minimum commitment: 10 days per month.
• Document time and assignment details in the online portal; use Epic EMR.
