Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts is seeking an Outlet Bartender/Cook for EVEN Brooklyn in Brooklyn, NY. This on-site, part-time role combines bartending and kitchen tasks to deliver consistent guest experiences in a fast-paced hotel environment.

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards and etiquette.
• Ability to take accurate orders, explain menu items and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Ability to operate a POS system and process payments accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests exceptional service by taking accurate food and beverage orders, explaining menu items and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Enter orders into POS, verify accuracy, process payments and deliver food and beverages with appropriate condiments.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, portion standards and quality guidelines.
• Maintain clean, organized workstations, kitchen lines and service stations.
• Follow food safety procedures including temperatures, dating, labeling, storage and waste control.
• Operate and clean commercial kitchen equipment (fryers, grills, ovens, steamers, etc.).
• Monitor inventory and assist with controlling food costs and minimizing waste.
• Work as part of a team in a fast-paced hotel environment.
