Job summary

The Madison Club in La Quinta, CA is seeking a hospitality team member responsible for the opening and closing of golf food outlet stations and delivering the Discovery Land Company experience to members and staff. You will keep stations tidy, stock items, and ensure smooth daily operations on course service.

Expect a dynamic environment with flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Previous resort hospitality and a strong customer-service mindset are essential to success in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous hospitality resort experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to read/write/speak English; additional languages helpful.

Responsibilities

• Keep all outlet stations neat, organized and well stocked.
• Store outlet food properly and according to food safety guidelines.
• Put away outlet food and beverage deliveries.
• Maintain stock levels at the sales office and fitness areas.
• Take food or beverage orders on course to relay to kitchen when necessary.
• Track specified food items taken from the kitchen on weekly Outlet Tracking Sheets.
• Communicate inventory needs when par levels are low.
• Greet all members formally by using their surname.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job description

In this role, you will be responsible for the successful opening and closing of assigned golf food outlet station. While creating the Discovery Land Company experience for our members and fellow employees.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep all outlet stations neat, organized and well stocked.
• Store outlet food properly and according to food safety guidelines.
• Put away outlet food and beverage deliveries.
• Maintain stock levels at the sales office and fitness areas.
• Take food or beverage orders on course to relay to kitchen when necessary.

• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.

The Company's good faith estimate of the hourly rate it expects to pay for this role is $21-$24 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
